I started Kyokushin the same way most people do — wanting something real. Something that didn’t fall apart the moment life got hard. The early days were nothing but sore legs, bruised ribs, and technique that felt impossible. But that’s where the discipline is built.

Now I teach the same way I was taught — honest contact, precise fundamentals, and zero ego. Not reckless. Not watered-down. Just real technique, real conditioning, and respect for anyone willing to push through discomfort and grow.

If you show up and commit, I’ll meet you with the same intensity. Kids, teens, adults — everyone trains the same curriculum. Because in Kyokushin, strength isn’t given. It’s earned, one class at a time.

I came up the hard way — unfit, unsure, and nearly quit in my first month.

Now I'm a black belt who's competed at the Absolute World Tournament, representing New Zealand. Life's hit me harder than any opponent ever has, and Kyokushin taught me the rule that matters: keep moving forward, never stay down. Show up willing, and I'll help you find that in yourself.
